ABOUT ISLAY GRAY

 

 

My name is Islay Gray and I love making. After leaving school I completed a three year Furniture Manufacture and Design course in Fife. After working in this field for a short time, I decided I wasn't quite finished with higher education and applied to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to study Prop Making.I am now back in the world of work and so excited to be creating new pieces and working on commissions.

From custom sculptures, miniatures, props, masks and furniture. Anything you might want made, I am always happy to have a chat through the possibilities! I enjoy working closely with clients to design one-off pieces whether it be a large item of furniture made using Scottish hardwoods, or a miniature clay replica of a building or person.
